The Relationship Between Chris and Nicole Kessinger
Chris Watts and his wife Chanan had just found out that she was pregnant with their first child, Nico Lee. On June 27th of 2018, Chanan left home to travel to North Carolina for six weeks. That same month, Chris started talking to a woman named Nicole Kessinger who worked for Anadarco Petroleum's environmental department. According to investigative documents, Nicole deleted much of her conversation with Chris before she later turned in her phone to the police. Many texts were also missing from Chris's phone. Records show that Chris ignored Chanan's texts and calls while he was with Nicole and told her that he fell asleep early.
