Are Hormonal Migraines Getting Worse as We Get Older?

The two most common causes of hormonal migraines when it comes to hormones are estrogen dominance and a rapid change in hormones. When we're going through perimenopause, often we start to get that decreased progesterone before our estrogen actually drops. It can make a lot of women who weren't estrogen dominant before fall into the symptoms of estrogen dominance because of low progesterone. So I feel like in the perimanopause phase, generally they can be worse. Now once you go through menopause, you can still get migraines then, but generally speaking, they're not quite as bad.
