The Importance of Time
In the Middle Ages, they had some debates about whether you could prove that the world had a first moment in time. Aquinas was one of these who said it's actually theoretically possible for God to make a world that never had a beginning. He didn't, but he could have if he had wanted to. But if God had done that, then the world would go back infinitely in time. And then God would sort of be standing outside the world, holding the whole thing up,. Or if you want to reverse the metaphor, propping it up. So everything that would be dependent on this independent cause, I don't know if I'm starting to address any of these.
