Dong Jing, Who Wants to Watch the Autobiography a Fat Woman?
When i was getting into honkong cinema as a ten ager, reading all those books a reading all those fan magazines, you know, i saw a fair number of wong jing movies. But i definitely didn't see as many of his films as i probably should have, because i kind of lookedw on him. When you're learning about anything really, you trust the canon to some extent. You trust the canonizers. And it is very valid to call his movies bad. It's also a very valid opinion to call them absolutely entertaining.
