The Last Emperor of Rome, Constantine

Constantine was 34 years old and had been emperor, but never really been emperor for exactly six years. He staged an adventus, which was something like a low grade triumph, and paraded his way through the streets to the cheers of the masses. Constantine declared macentius memory to be damned and all his laws and edicts nullified. All the inscriptions on all the buildings macentius had erected were scratched out and replaced by inscriptions dedicated to constantine.
