The History of TV Dinners
Toastmaster was invented a few years before pre-sliced packaged bread in 1928. Swanson Company had 260 tons of frozen turkeys left after the Thanksgiving season. The company didn't have a place to store that many turkeys, so they were being stored on refrigerated railroad cars. Next week with a new episode all about the year's summer was canceled.
