The Strong Man or Strong Woman Theory of History

I've read a couple of accounts recently about sort of the strong man or strong woman theory of history that as institutions collapse, we're looking for individuals to sweep in and save us. Like do you see that trend in our culture and in the church? Yeah, absolutely. I mean, at the end of the day, I'm pro-institution because I think institutions are how cultural goods are created and sustained past the lifetime of a particular figure or generation.
