Eosinophilic gastrinaritis is an unusual but seen cause of just non-specific nausea and vomiting. It can cause significant nausea and vomiting when the gastric mucosis is infiltrated with these eosinophils. You really got to get multiple areas of the stomach and multiple biopsies in each area to maximize the sensitivity. And it's very treatable, so you really don't want to miss it because it's very steroid responsive.
