The Polish Army and the Polish Military in the 1930s

Polish cavalry was not going to line up a breast and execute a medieval charge. Their goal was to use the mobility provided by their mounts to move around the battlefield. Polish society was far less reliant on motor vehicles than its neighbors. The lack of domestic motor vehicle industry in the mid 1930s would hamper efforts to expand the domestic production of vehicles for the military.
