There's usually steps forward but there's also steps backwards or just new changes. I think the R53 Mini that they stopped making in 2006 was the best Mini they ever made. Why? Because they kept getting customer surveys saying we'd like more space. Instead of going, Hey, asshole, it's called Mini. It's supposed to be small. Yeah, by the clubman. If you want something bigger, it's not significantly roomier inside. The car is just fucking bigger. And so, you know, that stuff's been happening. But I think if you go back to like the 70s and 80s for the most part, the new one did get a little better
