I think it's highly unlikely that these machines have consciousness. I think the fact that they have no reflective abilities means it's virtually the case that they do not have self consciousness. So worrying about, you know, how the machine is thinking like that is like how themachine is feeling or something like that. It's possible that we could get there. Yes, it is. But you see what's happening by getting clear about what has happened scientifically. We can start to see what are the future threshold points that we will be confronting and how can we be foresightful about them.
