"It was a little bit of a punch in the face. But ultimately I said the behavioral aspect, I want it gone and I was probably going to do it anyway," he says. "The very fortunately chose a variable interest rate. And so it was low the whole the whole time that I was paying it off." Do you feel bad that you didn't get the $10,000 that people are getting now off their student loans? "I mean, you never want to turn down free money, right? But but I also think that I took out the loan and I feel like I should pay it back because it's the right thing to do".
