The Story of Ted Patrick and the Colt Scare
In january 19 73, ted patrick was charged with assault and unlawful imprisonment for attempting to force a 20 year old colt member into a car. He decided to fight the charges, and he used himmediate attention on the case to feed into a growing national hysteria about cults. The prosecution accused patrick of employing the very brain washing techniques that he claimed t be against. But in the end, patrick was found not guilty.
