The Importance of Submission
The Catechism quotes the beginning of St. Paul's letter to Ephesians chapter 5, verse 20. The whole section begins with St. Paul saying, be subject to one another out of reverence for Christ. So husbands and wives both mutually have this mutual call for submission. What is it to submit? Well, it's to place yourself under the mission of the other person.
