The Higgs boson was discovered at the Large Hadron Collider. It's more exciting to discover where dark matter is than what it isn't, he says. But discovering the vanilla Higgs in exactly this way doesn't give us any access to what dark matter is. That just means you have to look elsewhere for clues about dark matter.
