The Great and Strange Expression
The word never there in the Greek is written kind of strange. It's almost like what we would consider a stack. In English language, if you put two negatives together, a double negative, they cancel each other out. So when it in the Greek, it literally reads that the one coming to me, I will not not cast out. John Bunyan calls it the great and strange expression. He knows we tend to deflect Christ's assurance.
