The Buddha's Compulsion to Share
The first people to enter space are also looked up to and remembered. Roger Banister with a four minute mile is still talked about, even though loads of people have broken the four minute miles now. The Buddha knows that what he's done is that he's found a path to help all beings,. if they wish to alleviate suffering at whatever level they want to do that. So just like the sun, he feels he has to share.
