China's Invasion of Tianan

The chinese government has claimed the nation of tiwan as being its own for a very long time. And you have a very uncomfortable argument going on on a world basis whether tiwan is a country or not. I don't understand myself how these countries think that their military invasion is going to do any good, right? But maybe i don't understand it.
