The Differences Between a Zero and a Wildcat
The Mitsubishi Zero was the cornerstone of the Japanese naval air force at the beginning of the war. Meanwhile the Marines are flying F4F Wildcats Grumman F4F Cats and it's not nearly as maneuverable as a zero or wildcat. There was no symmetrical equivalence because they were different kinds of airplanes at the start of the war but there was an equivalence to the quality of pilots in the middle of 42. We're going to look at ACEs what constitutes an ace an ace is someone who scores five aerial victories against the the opposing side It's like you shoot down five of theirs and you're an ace and you don't have to kill kill the pilot
