I think from a partisan political perspective, they made the right call in not coming because it's better to leave that a question mark and maybe suggest that you were derelict in your duty. The report is basically about a failure in policing. Nobody who's in elected office can actually do anything short of declaring a state of emergency to encourage the police to actually enforce the law. I think there was a casualty. It was Brenda Lucky. But if you were to go through the 2000 pages, there's not a lot about politicians. There's a lot about police failures. And I think that's really the top shot of the whole thing.
