How to Sing Like Jimmy Webb and Elton John

I think so, you know, at least I was incorporating what I knew from different songwriters because I had worked with Paul Williams. It's kind of intuitive and just listening by ear, playing along with their records and analyzing like Jimmy Webb's lyrics and Elton's lyrics are just brilliant lyrics. You know, there's something for every songwriting to strive for, Jimmy Webb lyric or Bernie Topen lyric. And so that was the challenge for me is the lyrics. But I did study those particular people very carefully and I'm still studying them right now.
