Hedge Funds - The Only Source of Stability

People massively overuse the term hedge fun, they fetishize it a little too much. I don't think it's useful to see a hedge fund or product, or even the hedge fund industry,. These are just temporary collections of flawed, brilliant people who, in any given year, decide to make a sequel to the movie they made the prior year. And i think thinking of it as a product ignores the reality that the only source of stability is actually whether the mind set of the team leader is resilient and anti fragile. The nasim talis thing about actually getting stronger with volatility, rather than just enduring it.
