By the early 90s Futura had begun to transcend the graffiti scene at birth. But it wasn't until later that decade when Moax Records founder James LaVell tapped him to design the labels album covers and branding which incorporated his iconic point man design. There was a messenger championship in Berlin. The very first one competing as messengers they make you go out on routes and pick up something from point A and the Liberty Point B change a flat tire go here. And so we had a few of those that we were offering at this event and we had some of our T's and other shit. That's where I met James. He's got a company he told me called Moax
