The Intercuneiform Ligament
The most important ligament and the one that is mentioned in this question here is, what do you think it's named? You want to take a guess? Liz Frank. It's made up of C1 connecting to M2. The first cuneiform bone to the second metatarsal so it's kind of like a diagonal angle a little bit. This gap between this ligament should be less than two millimeters when you're suspecting a fracture in that area. If there's less than 2 millimeters, however, and there's stability noted and the patient can ambulate, usually do a long leg cast for six weeks or close ortho follow up.
