Monkey pox has been known in humans since around the 19 seventies, and in animals for longer than that. But where the bad luck comes in is that this sort of transmission to other countries has coincided with the northern hemisphere summer. It's meant a lot of people gan an on and being happy and doing what humans do when they've been locked up in the dark for so long.
