Working Class Women and the War in Petrograd

The war brought way more women into the urban industrial work force. Women accounted for about 25 % of the working classes in petrogradb 19 17, that was up to 33%. Across all russia, though, they went from 26% to fully forty-three%. They were also now being admitted into universities on an almost equal basis. The police report continued that these women are very likely closer now to revolution than milyakof and rozenka and company.
