Nancy Pelosi and the Affordable Care Act

After a year of debates, protests and deal-making, Congress has passed a health care reform bill. Speaker Nancy Pelosi gabbled down that bill about 11.15 p.m., passing it by the skin of its teeth. We will be joining those who established Social Security, Medicare, and now tonight, health care for all Americans. Republicans have spent tens of millions of dollars on attack ads against her.
