Chargeoffs Are a Lagging Indicator

The way the Fed works, you know, most much like the way that we have to calculate our own taxes and then say, is this right? It's a very similar premise where they said, hey, banks, we need you to put this in place. But it's not prescriptive. And so even when we think about what banks are provisioning for, it's not the same strategy because it's their own economic forecast and it'stheir own calculation.
