The Benefits of Having High Carbohydrates Around

The amount of glycogen that gets used in even a pretty intense weight training session. It's going to be nowhere near depletion, maybe like a 40% drop at a really tough training session. The more part of pragmatic question is, is there a benefit beyond that of just having more carbohydrates around for other reasons apart from the glycogen availability? Even though you might not run through all your glycogen stores, will you get some sort of inherent benefit to how it feels? And again, there's some stuff maybe about when you have some degree of glycogen depletion that might affect your RPEs and how the kind of session might feel.
