When should i sell a stock at a profit? In fieldtown's book, rule one, he recommends selling once the price reaches the intrinsic value of a stock. But that does not aline with the buffet way. I think since talking to you more and more since reading about buffet and peter lynch, i'm definitely more in the camp of let the profits run. It just seems like that's the number one mistake that all these big dogs talk about, is that they get out too early. Ye what? It waters? Peter lynch call it like a cutting uowes watering the weed.
