Psychologists have known since history that things run in families. But what we've learned is that genetics can account for the similarity in families. The environment's important, but it's not this environment given by systematic effects of the parents nurture of the kids. We don't know what these environmental influences are. And i've spent 30 years trying to find them, but haven't found them. They're sort of idiosyncratic, sercastic,. they make a difference, but they're very different from each other.
