William and rebecca perragot were a local couple who needed help, and they had become rather desperate in their search for it. Mary gave them both a special food that was meant to help fight off the evil spell rebecca was under. But mary also laced that food with a small amount of poison, perhaps to keep the woman sick. It backfired, and within just few months, rebecca was dead. For two years, william continued to be a paying customer, returning time and again to mary for various charms and potions.
