Plato and aristotle both held that there is in reality a form or an essence which gives us the answer to those questions. So if i say, truth is the adequation o mino reallity, ok, there'. There's a form of truth that makes that very statement to be true. And likewise, another term for form or essence is nature, the natures of things. If you feed a dog food a cat or cat bood to a dog, it doesn't go well. It's not it doesn't comport with their nature. Ah, if you kno, fire and human nature don't mix very well. We are burned and destroyed by fire.
