Models and Modelling in Mathematics Education
The word model in mathematics, i think, has at least eight different meanings. And a few of those meanings are largely missing from most conversations. When we're talking about models and strategies, we're not communicating well. So i think it's important to parse out those meanings so that we can communicate well with each other.
