Simeon golar became the public face of New York's scaracide housing program. He sat down with back in his second in command at the forest hills residence association, a guy by the name of joseph walderman. At one point he even tried to make peace with jerry burback. The project had already gone through the whole required public process and been approved back in 19 66. It started out as a simple housing development for the poor. Today it's a national symbol of middle class opposition to economic integration.
