i've always known from, i' say, my middle teens, that i wanted to work on shakespeare. When i'm feeling down and need something to pick me up, i act returned to sh Shakespearee to read him,. And it's almost like backaging a radical politics in a gorgeous form. I think we are so obsessed with the self that we forget to take on board otherness. That is what shakespeare exemplifies par excellence.
