Fossil fuel industry has a mass ive, no existential, conflict of interest with solving climate change. So i think there has to be some level a new professional ethics within climate research about who do you take money from and who do you not? I mean, we probably should have done this 30 years ago, but better late than never. And that's the bigger problem: now weare allowing the industry to select who gets a bigger pan of a megaphone and who doesn't.
