The Economic Recession in Europe
Germany's economic woes have been noted by the Wall Street Journal. The country is suffering from a demographic problem as well as over-aging problems, he says. Germany has also had to deal with an energy crisis caused by cheap Russian energy and nuclear power shutdowns. German politicians are starting to admit that their own economies may be in deeper trouble than they first thought - but it hasn't yet translated into electoral victories.
