How to Create a Movie Adaptation

If you want to learn more about how to do this, i suggest you read a book, read the script of that book, and then watch the movie. And there'll be three completely different things. I think the princess bride is such a good example, because it has the same narrative device but there's so much in the book that doesn't make it into the movie. They take just the right scenes that that set the tone, that have the humor that we know that anything else would have been extra or too much. How long dos t take a move these days? Make a move?
