Janie alluded to the fact that he'd sexually molested her all those years before, a fact janie had disclosed to nicol more than once in a direct conversation in two thousand seven and then in that facebook post five years later. Not only were they not shunning matthew, they hadn't even really challenged him about what he'd done. What was going on? I had this idea to ask them, ask all of them, and i thought, well, maybe their answers will mean more. You know, we'll have implications for more than just my story.
