How to Manage Your Source Code Control Process

If you're good source code control processes, the first fast, easy way is to take a look at who's checking in code and what are they checking in? You can just do some high level summaries. If on the other hand, I see check ins from one person and everybody else is sort of hanging around the edges, then I know I've got a team that hasn't really grown very well. The CTO can have lots of power. It can be in more protection mode rather than kind of enlightened mode.
