There is similarities between Australia and England that I haven't found in America for obvious reasons, maybe. So what kind of ones are you wearing? Are you a Bogan or what? Well, so what would Bogan mean? Bogan would try to think how to translate that for Americans. It would be something like a disheveled redneck, wouldn't it? Do you use the word Bogan in England?
