David Bowe had a very different attitude to his music than jarret. While jarret was a purist, boe actually enjoyed self imposed obstacles. Eno took to showing up at the hanser studio with a soft black box containing ae ion of curious cards he called oblique strategies. Each card has a different instruction, and you never know which one you're going to get.
