The Importance of Keeping Your Mouth Shut
I felt really wronged because the stories being told were obviously one sided and I didn't come out of it well, but I chose and still do to keep my mouth shut. In Billy Eilish's song, Happy than Ever, one of the lyrics is, I don't talk shit about you on the internet, never told anyone anything bad because that shit is embarrassing. And so I think gossiping and choosing to not say anything too crappy is something you get to choose to do. For the other person involved, they might need the narrative to be good versus evil because that makes them feel better about everything. Maybe they haven't come to terms with some of it or whatever it is
