Kant's Refutation of Idealism

Kant states that any awareness, inner awareness as we find in Descartes-Berkeley actually requires an awareness of an external reality. It is only by way of our experience of the outer world that we have this inner world and this is why Kant states he is turning idealism against itself. The very apparatus which we supposedly would make, which is conditioned, is also the thing which conditions what we get.
