Most of my people pleasing in the past has been saying yes to things that i don't want to do. I got so burnt out and sick because i'd said yes to everything six months ago. So for me, a lot of that, the turn around, has been practice in saying no. Boundary setting is an exposure. It is about creating an uncomfortable situation as it involves saying no. And if you say no, sometimes you're going to disappoint people. When you don't have good boundaries, you end up feeling very resentful Because you haven't been able to take care f yourself. By not setting good boundaries,you can't actually be there for people when they need you
