Parite Isn't Paro Magnetic

If you rub an iron nail on a magnet, the nail will become a weak magnet itself. Once a paro magnetic material becomes magnetized, that's kind of it. There is no going back, at least not without a lot of energy. Parite and similar fairy magnetic materials can be flipped and flopped back and forth all you want. This is the corp ciple that makes a casette tape work. It's actually a really specialized type of electromagnet. Bringing that sharp point up to a tape will magnetize just the region it's near. The reading process is a little more complicated.
