The Importance of Narrative Design in VR

I got asked about narrative design for people wanting to do episodic travel stories in like virtual environments around the world. I'm not sold on the metaverse basically very it just seems like it is it exists but has existed in ways people are ignoring because it doesn't serve their Like pioneer narrative and when it works it's really messy and chaotic in ways that corporate corporations have no interest in so yeah go you know  and again I get this is like revealing my age but when I was in middle school and high school and college I played an online mud that was like a kind of fantasy role playing game that had its own internal politics systems.
