The Difference Between Male and Female Brain Development
Sally Kohn: There's this huge argument right now about the difference between male and female brains among adults. She says there's no real debate about the fact that they develop at a different time. Kohn: Girls are just on average, just ahead in terms of prefrontal cortex when they're 15 or 16. The ability to pay attention to an intrinsically boring task because it will pay off in the future is great life skill, she says.
