We suppress all sorts of pain in order to function and survive. And so we also learn, i would say, way of being in the world. Who do i need to be in order to get love, validation and approval? Tisn't who we really are, but we've conditioned to believe that who we are. We end up going into life creating our life trying to get what we think we want. It's never fulfilling. When we can peel those layers away of condit in and really connect with what we truly are then we can live life authentically. I think it takes tremendous courage to be who we Really Are.
